AUGUST 11-12– Player Information Sheet

 

FORMAT:  36 Hole Individual Stroke Play –

4 Club Champions Will Be Identified

                        Gross (Championship Division Only)

Net (Blue Tee Players are ineligible)

Senior (70 and over)

Womens

            If there is a tie for any of these positions after 36 Holes there will be a playoff.

 

Any Ties for other positions will be decided by a match of cards based on the USGA Recommendation, Holes 10-18, Holes 13-18, etc., during round 2.

 

BLUE TEES – Championship Division

WHITE TEES- Men not in the Championship or Senior Divisions

GOLD TEES-   Senior (70+)

RED TEES-   Women

 

U.S.G.A. rules will govern play except when one of the following supersedes the U.S.G.A.

 

Preferred LiesIn your own Fairway, one club length no closer to the hole.

                                     

 

Lateral Water Hazards: (1-2-3-4-5-6-9-10-12-14-15)

          Marked by Red Stakes. If your ball goes into a lateral water hazard you have 3 options:                                                          1. Drop 2 Club Lengths from where it last crossed the hazard line

                                                2. Replay the shot from the last position played from (stroke & distance)

3. Take the ball as far back as you want keeping the point where it crossed the hazard and the hole in line

 

Out of Bounds- Marked by White Stakes (Holes #9 and #18 only)

                             1. You must replay the shot from the point where you hit it (stroke and distance)

 

Ground Under Repair- Marked by white lines nearest point of relief plus a club length

 

Mulched Beds - free Lift from all mulched or pine straw decorative areas.

 

RULE 3-3 - IF A PLAYER HAS ANY DOUBT AS TO A RULE OR PROCEDURE HE MAY PLAY TWO BALLS AND THE COMMITTEE WILL DECIDE ON THE RULING WHEN PLAY IS COMPLETED.  YOU MUST DECIDE WHICH BALL YOU ELECT TO COUNT WHEN INVOKING THIS RULE.
